Get Sweaty

Personal training: Meet the great team at Matt Scott Personal Training in Parsons Green for training in the small private studio here. Evolve 353 offer a variety of small group training sessions as well with periodic promotions when you sign up.

Exercise studios: We are super lucky to have lots to choose from. For spinning Ride Republic on Fulham Road are very popular, and just a few doors along is Heartcore Pilates. Paola’s Body Barre started in SW6 and have a studio close to Bishops Park. Just off Parsons Green you’ll find Absolute Pilates, for another reformer pilates option. Un1t on Wandsworth Bridge Road offer small group sessions with lots of strength training. F45 also have a large gym close to Fulham Broadway.

Sports: There are great local courts available for tennis in Bishops Park, info here. Court hire is also available in Hurlingham Park and South Park, plus coaching. You can also sign up for sports such as touch rubgy, football, netball and many more with Go Mammoth.

Great outdoors: Don’t forget that we are fortunate to live in a fab area of London. There is a weekly 5k run on Saturdays mornings organised by Parkrun in Bishops Park. Running by the river is very popular, starting from Putney Bridge you can run along the river to Barnes Railway Bridge and then back along the other side of the Thames, details are here. With Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park also in our backyard, there really is no excuse to get out, get that heart pumping and some fresh air.

Health Clubs: If you want the full range of facilities then check out the Harbour Club (popular with families and for it’s classes and creche). Other good options are the David Lloyd in Fulham Broadway, Virgin Active on Lillie Road and Nuffield Health close to the Fulham Football Club.
